Getting around in Watford
Watford can boast of not 1 but 3 train stations and is an excellent central point from which to commute and explore.
Watford Junction Rail Station has provision for 750 car spaces (the daily charge is £8.50 or monthly is £135.00). The fast, non stop service to London, Euston takes just 16 minutes and there are 4 trains every hour.
The West London line provides a service to Clapham Junction and East Croydon. The Southern Line links Watford to Milton Keynes, Coventry and Rugby whilst the North West Railway provides a service to Birmingham New Street.
There's a service via the Avanti West Coast railway to Shrewsbury and travellers can also pick up the Caledonian Sleeper from Watford - going as far afield as Crewe, Carlisle, Aberdeen, Inverness and Fort William.
Watford Station Underground is in Zone 7 and is on the Metropolitan Line. This service links Watford to Aldgate, Baker Street, Wembley Park and Rickmansworth and north to Chesham and Amersham.
The Watford DC line shares its services with the London Underground and joins the Bakerloo line between Queens Park and Harrow and Wealdstone.
Watford North Station is on the Abbey Line and provides a branch line service to St. Albans.

Mary Forsdyke Garden and Warren Lake is located in Bushey Heath. Relax in the garden with its many plants and walk along the boardwalk.
Fishers Field Local Nature Reserve and Fishers Park enables you to enjoy a stroll and the local wildlife.
The Moatfield dates back to medieval times but now offers a play area with lots of activities for youngsters to enjoy.
